Net Developer

Net Developer in Bournemouth - Our Bournemouth based client is currently seeking a Net Developer to develop and maintain new and existing business solutions. The role holder will be responsible for writing and testing Database driven Web Application software from specifications for the use in Company products. Other responsibilities extend to liaising with Lead Developers, Designers and other members of the Development team regarding implementation of specifications and requirements and assisting with release preparation and support of software through to testing. Specific Responsibilities will involve: Working with the Head of Development and Account Managers to draw up technical specifications; Assisting the Head of Development and Senior Applications Developer in designing new Applications; Writing Web Application Code including but not limited to: C# ; ASP.Net; ColdFusion; XHTML; XML Technologies; JavaScript; CSS; Writing SQL Database Code including but not limited to: T-SQL; DDL; DML; UDF’s; SP’s; Carrying out Development Testing and handover to Support; Researching new technologies and processes; Assisting Support in the resolution of technical issues found with code, databases and server configurations; Contacting clients to obtain resources necessary to clarify functionality. The successful candidate must have the following knowledge and experience: C#; ASP.Net; ColdFusion; MS SQL Server 2000 and beyond; T-SQL: SP’s; UDF’s; DDL; DML; Web Technologies: HTML; XHTML; DHTML; JavaScript; AJAX; CSS; Standards; XML Technologies: XML; XSD; XSLT; XPath; SOAP; Web Services; Object Orientated Design (OOD). You will also be educated to GCSE English and Maths or equivalent. Annual Salary range depending on ability and experience.
