Renewals Administrator

Renewals Administrator in Poole - Our client is currently seeking a Renewals Administrator with a substantial amount of commercial insurance experience across renewals and policy administration. As this role is office based, it requires smart appearance at all times. Within this role you will be responsible for the administration of client’s commercial insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, renewals, mid term adjustments, obtaining quotations and accounting procedures. You will also provide technical, administrative and customer service support to the Account Executives in the small business team who deal with premiums below £5,000. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner; Manage client renewals, including renewal documentation; renewal quotations and accounting procedures ensuring FSA deadlines are adhered to; Administer mid term adjustments; Input data onto the office systems; Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client’s insurance needs; Provide technical and administrative support to the Account Executives; Provide technical assistance to Administration Assistants; Assist Account Executives where necessary to assess, assimilate, analyse and present to Insurers and Underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate; Assist in the preparation of Registers on both new and existing risks to support the Account Executives; Adhere to T&C scheme requirements. The following skills are essential: High level-inter personal skills – ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships; Communication skills – able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge face to face, over the telephone and in writing; Planning, organisational and time management skills; Problem solving; Computer literate. The successful candidate should have relevant insurance qualifications and will be educated to A level standard or equivalent. In addition you will be punctual, self motivated, positive, courteous and polite, willing to work as part of a team and have a commitment to achieve high standards of customer service. Salary: £22000 - £24000 per annum
