Program ManagerProgram Manager in Bournemouth - Our Marketing client is seeking a Program Manager to effectively manage the envisioning, planning and delivery of client projects by adopting an Agile implementation of the Microsoft Solutions Framework - maintaining profitability, quality and value through customer collaboration leading to adjustment of project constraints (cost, schedule, scope). You will manage projects from scoping through to a successful delivery, guiding project solution architecture; deliver projects to scope, budget, and timescales using Agile IT project management processes; manage iteration of project timeboxes/sprints and associated adjustments of project schedule – in conjunction with company level capacity plan and resourcing; provide regular project status reports (internal and external); manage project risks, issues and change control; facilitate communication and negotiation within the team to achieve project and business level objectives; complete weekly resourcing/capacity processes; support new business activity from a project management perspective; and support the development of program management processes, tools and templates. You will have excellent communication skills; experience of project management, preferably using Agile methods for software or IT projects; excellent organisational and time management skills; people management and leadership skills; and be expert in the use of Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with, or qualifications in, the following methodologies would be desirable though are not specific requirements for the right candidate: Agile Project Management, Microsoft Solutions Framework, Prince2 Project Management and ISO9001 TickIT. You will already be based in or near Bournemouth, or will have a very strong reason for relocating, such as family in the area.
