Web Developer

Web Developer in Bournemouth - Our Marketing client is seeking a Web Developer to primarily focus on website development and systems integration, but also technical architecture and process improvements. You will work under a Technical Architect and Senior Developer to deliver best practise web solutions and support existing client websites and hosting. You will have a computing or software engineering degree and a substantial amount of experience, whilst also having strong personal skills: drive, initiative and good communication. Your personal responsibilities will include web development during producing and stabilising phases, maintenance and support for existing websites and hosting services, and envisioning and planning phase technical input. You should be an expert in Asp.Net (preferably C#), .Net framework 2+ and Visual Studio 2005/8; expert in Systems Integration and Web Services, XML and XSLT; experienced in Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures and database administration; experienced in Windows Server 2003/8, IIS 6/7, hosting, DNS and network configuration; experienced with content management solutions, Ektron, SiteFinity, DotNetNuke; experienced in Classic ASP, JavaScript, VBSCRIPT, ActionScript. Other useful skills are: mapping technologies, Google Maps and Navteq Map24; version control systems, Subversion and SourceSafe; project methodologies such as Agile, Prince2 and MSF; ecommerce solutions, such as AspDotNetStorefront; Microsoft Shared Services and MOSS 2007; and HTML, DHTML, CSS, Flash. You will already be based in Bournemouth or the surrounding area; alternatively if you are relocating you must have strong ties to the area such as family.
