Engagement Planner

Engagement Planner in Southampton - Our client, a successful media agency, is looking to recruit an 'Engagement Planner'. This role is accountable to the Engagement Planning Lead. The purpose of the role is to shape the strategic development of client accounts (both existing and new business). The role involves inspiring teams to create great work based on audience, marketplace, brand & product insight and understanding. Inspiring the creative teams and shaping the creative output. Developing a more informed and strategic approach to channel selection. Experience/Qualifications Required: Qualified to degree level with relevant professional qualifications; Background in account planning including strategic development informed by insight and understanding of audience and marketplace (to include initial insight generation); Strong evidence of working effectively at a strategic level with clients within an agency environment; Strong background in and understanding of digital & social media Person Specification: Naturally, curious and investigative particularly in consumer trends and motivation; Awareness and interest in creative ideas & inspiring creative teams; Deep knowledge of digital, social media and emerging channels & the role of analytics in the digital space; Research knowledge with the ability to facilitate/moderate groups; Ability to write clear strategy and a tight brief; Strong strategic planning experience; Understanding of digital's role in the integrated environment; Broad category experience; Ability to write winning proposal content Due to the high number of applications we are receiving at present, we are unable to respond to every application individually. Salary: £20000 - £45000 per annum
