Travel Consultant - Westbourne in Bournemouth - Our client is currently looking to recruit a Travel Consultant to be an active enthusiastic member of their sales team, working to increase the company's profitability whilst providing the best possible service to customers. This is a 1 year maternity cover contract role. You will respond to all customer telephone, email, fax and face to face enquiries/bookings promptly and courteously at all times, ensure that information given is appropriate to the customers needs and put the customer first at all times. You will act as a member of a team generating sales, accurately follow bookings processes and procedures, accurately address any administration tasks allocated, monitor bookings through diary system, offer add-ons where appropriate to the travel needs and maximise on commissions wherever possible. The successful candidate will display professionalism and respect between team members to encourage a positive team spirit, ensure company policies are adhered to and answer reservation telephones promptly. You will attend all training courses/presentations/exhibitions when possible, in addition to carrying out any on line training relevant to the job. You will be required to study for and successfully complete Level 1 Insurance exam as well as support Supervisors/Managers/Directors with decisions made.
