Lead Web Designer

Lead Web Designer in Bournemouth - Our client is currently looking to recruit a Lead Web Designer. In this role you will be responsible for leading web design projects and mentoring designers in the design and build of outstanding web solutions. You will work closely with account managers to ensure ideas are created into fully workable solutions within the specified timescale and within budget. The successful candidate will have: A degree/HND level in a related discipline, a passion for digital, proven agency based experience, a high quality portfolio of work showing a high standard of design and creativity, thorough knowledge of CSS and XHTML, thorough knowledge of web standards and accessibility and expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and other industry standard software. Must also hold experience of SEO, experience working with unobtrusive JavaScript and experience working with Content Management Systems. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, excellent typography, design layout and colour skills, an eye for detail and alignment and a solid understanding of designing to accessibility and usability standards.
