Senior Account ManagerSenior Account Manager in Southampton - Our client is looking for a Senior Account Manager to drive new annuity revenues in the form of out sourced managed service contracts, selling across all existing customers and generating new business opportunities. The main areas that you will have responsibility for will be to help drive new managed service business from new and existing corporate clients and identify new business opportunities around managed service solutions from public sector and corporate accounts. You will be undertaking new business appointments and presentations, generating new business - some cold calling will be involved, ensuring continued and successful relationships and to further develop all accounts to ensure effective account ownership and maximise all revenue opportunities. You will be working with the sales team to introduce and develop managed service opportunities within existing accounts and identify sales opportunities and effectively present the key features of the company’s product portfolio. You will ideally possess Managed Service Sales Exec experience and knowledge of IT principles. Knowledge of public sector and corporate sector policies and procedures would also be an advantage. The ideal candidate will have a consultative and relationship driven approach, a confident and effective communicator (both verbally and written) and be very self-motivated, passionate and target driven. Working in the Sales Dept can at times be perceived as being potentially stressful as the role requires you to work towards set deadlines & timescales.
