Lead Developer

Lead Developer in Bournemouth - Our client is seeking a Lead Developer. Your responsibilities will include all production work assigned by Senior Developers, projects for key account customers, mentoring of junior staff members, and ensuring that exemplary development is delivered whilst meeting client objectives. You will have proven relevant experience in developing web applications, experience of working in a Digital Agency environment, evidence of project responsibility from conception to completion and experience of liaising with clients and key stakeholders. Ideally, you will be educated to degree/HND level (incorporating Software Engineering) and demonstrate a high-level portfolio of work and development knowledge. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of developer specific production processes and procedures. You should have the following technical experience/knowledge: .NET (C#) programming, Object Orientated Design, thorough knowledge of HTML and Javascript, Relational Database Management Systems Design, IIS management, XML technologies, requirements elicitation and analysis, Ajax, LINQ, .NET 2.0 and 3.5, classic ASP, awareness of different development methodologies, appropriate certification e.g. MCTS and experience of Content Management Systems e.g. Immediacy, Fatwire, Reddot or Episerver. The ideal candidate will be willing to undertake a security check appropriate to the role, be willing and available to work outside of normal working hours as required and be willing to travel if required.
