Mitigation Claims Handler in Ringwood - Our client is looking for a Mitigation Claims Handler who will be responsible to the Mitigation Claims Manager. The job role covers all aspects of Mitigation and processing of all hire and non-hire claims. Duties will involve, ensuring all hire costs incurred are recoverable by the senior claims department, ensuring hire is utilised to its full potential whilst out on hire and that the vehicle is required and the looking after of extension of hire periods. You will manage the repair-tracking system to mitigate repair period to vehicle, deal first hand with customer enquiries and deal with liability negotiation in order to source settlement for client. Will also involve the sending of repair paperwork to relevant TPIs, ensure all details regarding TPIs are correct and the general house keeping of a claim. The client requires someone with Claims handling knowledge and a understanding of the insurance sector. You need to be IT Literate and preferably have an understanding of ABI GTA. You need to have good communication skills, the ability to remain focused on the task at hand and the ability to work as part of team.
