Contract Accountant

Contract Accountant in Wimborne - You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager and your main responsibilities will be to work closely with the Project Manager, to manage/administer and report on all costs for a variety of build projects, minimising costs and commercial risks, while still achieving the required standards and quality. Your duties will involve dealing with Client Accounts and the management of costs and commercial risks through the course of a project. Valuation of completed works and negotiation of payments and the management of all claims and variations. You will deal with Subcontractor Accounts and be involved with the validation and agreement of subcontractor payment applications, valuation of completed works and negotiation of payments and the management of subcontractor claims, variations and recharges. You will also be responsible for the preparation of project cash flow forecasts, provision of contract sum analyses and cash flows for clients and margin assessment and preparation of project margin reports and forecasts.

Salary: £28000 - £33000 per annum + Pension scheme
