Trader Account Executive

Trader Account Executive in Poole - Our client is a leading monthly advertising publication who serve the wholesale and retail stock buying market. They are currently seeking experienced account executives to successfully drive business forward within their Motoring Teams in Classified Sales. Responsibilities will include the following: To set a positive example of attitude, results, professionalism, ability, job knowledge to all colleagues, be receptive to training, and committed to enhancing personal knowledge and skill. You will canvass and introduce new advertisers to the publication and to service existing clients within the category/area/ of responsibility and continually provide ongoing sales advice to existing advertisers ensuring they receive the highest level of service and offer every opportunity to enhance their advertising and increase spend. Our client requires a strong determined person with a good sense of humour, who can overcome adversity. Ideally you will need a minimum of 1 year's previous experience within sales or a call centre environment. You will be a target-orientated person, with experience of working to tight deadlines. This role will involve spending 20 - 40% of their week managing a geographical client base, 60 - 80% of the week will be targeted on cold call revenue and growth of the client base through canvassing. Candidates will have to show evidence of experience of outbound canvassing. Applicants must have a proven ability to organise a busy workload and deal with periods of pressure, most importantly, you will have excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate successfully with customers and colleagues over the telephone.

Salary: £14700 - £20000 per annum
