Account Manager

Our Southampton client is seeking an experienced Account Manager. Your main responsibilities will include strategic planning, building relationships and working as the day-to-day client contact on designated accounts, media planning and buying, managing the creative process from the creative brief to the final approved finished product, event management, financial management and personnel development - developing the Account Coordinator and Account Executive. You must have effective account handling skills; a strong understanding of marketing and ideally experience of B2B marketing; experience of media planning and buying, in particular managing press and direct marketing campaigns; and strong organisational skills. It is also essential that you have a substantial amount of experience in a similar role, and an understanding and ability for the following: project management, taking and creating briefs, planning and buying media and planning and executing DM campaigns. Additionally, you must have experience of working in advertising agencies, high computer literacy, and the ability to communicate at all levels. Account Executive

Our Southampton client is seeking an Account Executive to support the Account Manager in effectively managing the day-to-day delivery of projects and campaigns for identified clients, with a focus on total customer satisfaction and agency objectives. Your responsibilities will include developing client relationships, providing consistently excellent client service that exceeds client expectations, building knowledge of each client's business and sector, acting as internal liaison between other departments, playing a supporting role in pitch preparation and contributing ideas, and forecasting monthly income for assigned clients. You will have a relevant marketing qualification and/or a substantial amount of experience working in a Marketing environment. You will also have clear communication skills, be digitally savvy, and have total focus on customer service. Ideally you will be proactive, ambitious, highly organised, able to work under pressure and flexible.
