Account Director

Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Account Director to spearhead their drive into new markets; they are looking for an individual with experience of winning business and growing accounts in the email marketing, digital CRM and tactical digital production area. The overall purpose of the role will be to spearhead the company into new markets and head up the management of these new accounts. You will develop new revenue streams within email marketing and digital production, and build and sustain healthy relationships with clients to ensure total client satisfaction and long term account growth. You will manage an Account Manager and Project Manager, and grow a team in line with new business success; you will also work closely with internal and external production resources and the New Business Team. Previous experience of working at an established UK online agency is essential, along with a substantial amount of agency experience. You will be experienced at working on high calibre accounts, have an excellent understanding of digital production cycle, organisational and planning skills and good time management with the ability to prioritise. You will be proactive, confident, creative, dynamic, have gravitas, driven, autonomous, credible, respected reputation, able to influence others, stacks of initiative, loyal, visionary, ambitious and enthusiastic. Package includes annual bonus (business performance related), BUPA Healthcare after one year, 23 days holiday increasing to 25 after 5 years service, contributory pension and relocation assistance offered (if applicable). Our client is seeking a very experienced agency PR Account Manager who is ready to become part of a team on a long-term basis and help manage the client accounts of an established agency. You will generate profitable business through the management of our present clients and the delivery of PR solutions. You need to be able to demonstrate use of the following skill sets: account management and client liaison, social media and digital PR, creation of proposals and successful pitching, new business identification of possible leads, growth of client accounts, traditional and online copywriting, understanding of marketing communications as a whole, and briefing and working with designers. You will be responsible for the following areas: Business Development, Client Relationship Management, People Management, Administration and Reporting, and Business Management. The position is best suited to someone who wants agency life, who is proactive and has the ability to sell in solutions and new products, and who is ready to settle in one agency.
