Project Manager

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Project Manager to join their team. The purpose of this role is to manage projects from start to delivery on time, on budget and on brief. A project manager is the central coordination point for everyone and everything associated with the project. Principal Accountabilities include: Project Management - Deliver projects and ensure all risks associated with the project are identified and managed; Define the scope of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule and budget). Management - Manage interdisciplinary teams of creative's and developers whether internal or external; Provide management support and liaison to client services; Ensure the project achieves the clients needs; Develop management information and key project performance data which facilitate and enable the communication of the project; Manage excellent relationships with clients and colleagues. Leadership - Lead and inspire teams by communicating a vision for the project. Communication - Lead efficient and effective meetings and conference calls; Clearly communicate project issues in a timely manner to ensure the swift and effective identification and resolution of any issues which put the project at risk. Project Director

Our client currently has an opportunity for a Project Director to join their team. The successful candidate must have solid understanding and experience of complex digital projects and large scale website / application builds. You will have experience of managing projects which follow a user centred design approach or focus on user experience, substantial project management experience in an agency and qualifications such as Prince 2 Practitioner, Scrum & Agile. You will have excellent skills in all Microsoft products including MS Project; Experience of managing project budgets in excess of £100k typically lasting more than 6 months; Experience managing a £500K plus programme of work per year; Exceptional understanding and adaptability of key project management skills and processes; Solid understanding and experience working with a variety of web dev build technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, AJAX, .NET; Experience working with varied Content Management System providers It is essential that applicants: Have the ability to manage in a matrix environment without the need for formal line authority; Capable of determining and reporting on project management information (MI) and key performance indicators (KPIs); Skilled at issue management and conflict resolution; Excellent communications skills - verbal and written; Able to manage remote and / or outsourced teams; Able to manage teams through change and adapt processes to suit project and team environments; Ability to cope in a environment where interfaces and technology are complex; Capable of managing a large team of project managers Due to the high number of applications we are receiving at present, we are unable to respond to every application individually. This role is accountable to the Group Managing Director and is responsible for the planning function and output across the company. The purpose of the role is to lead the strategic development and engagement of communications solutions across key clients and identify new business opportunities.
