Web Developer

Our client currently has an immediate vacancy for a Mid Level Web Developer to join their busy full service agency. They work with clients from all sectors and are seeking help in moving forward digitally whilst adding to a good portfolio of projects. As a candidate you would need to; Produce w3c standard XHTML and CSS documents that are minimal and efficient and to specification; Take graphical designs from the studio and dissect them to produce functional user-interfaces; Be part of the planning and specification stage plus be able to extract a development brief; Show evidence and understanding of how to manage a job and avoid project creep; Have an understanding of costing and budgeting; Write a technical specification from a given brief that can be used to build a suitable application; Produce object orientated PHP5 applications that are well formed, well documented and scalable; Investigate and evaluate new technologies and other way in which can aid the workflow of the company and the department; Present to clients an application or theory that has been created or researched by the company; Register and manage domain names that the company is responsible for, including the purchase of new domains; Build HTML emails from supplied artwork; Be involved with the setup and manage PPC campaigns, including google adwords; Have a working understanding of SEO and Social media - be able to support social media campaign with campaign development, landing pages. The successful candidate will need to liaise directly with clients on occasions so a good telephone manner is essential. You must be able to cope well under pressure and be prepared to go above and beyond to get the job done. Commitment is essential and the right candidate will be looking for a long term role. Front-End Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to work within its Technical Team. You will work within specified guidelines, provide accurate estimates to project managers and keep track of time spent on tasks; communicate effectively with senior developers and project managers; and work closely with the Creative Team, ensuring creative solutions are both optimal and achievable within project budget constraints. You will also keep abreast of current developments within Internet technologies and programming techniques; as well as work with senior developers to identify skill gaps. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in a digital agency role, and be a graduate with a digitally focussed Bachelors degree. Your technical competencies should include: X(HTML), CSS 2.1, complete cross browser understanding, Javascript including all major frameworks, OO PHP 4/5, MySQL – complex queries including Joins, Normalisation, Database Design and Indexes, basic Apache administration, basic Linux skills and Software Source Control (Subversion). You will also have a keen eye for detail, be a logical and analytical thinker with excellent problem solving skills, and have the ability to prioritise and complete tasks in a timely manner across multiple projects. Additionally, you need to be a fast learner with the ability to quickly understand code written by others, be self-motivated and organised with effective time management and planning skills, have the ability to work independently or as part of a team, be open to overtime when necessary and able to work under considerable pressure at times, and have the ability to communicate well with colleagues from a non-technical background. Senior Account Manager

Our client is looking for a Senior Account Manager to drive new annuity revenues in the form of out sourced managed service contracts, selling across all existing customers and generating new business opportunities. The main areas that you will have responsibility for will be to help drive new managed service business from new and existing corporate clients and identify new business opportunities around managed service solutions from public sector and corporate accounts. You will be undertaking new business appointments and presentations, generating new business - some cold calling will be involved, ensuring continued and successful relationships and to further develop all accounts to ensure effective account ownership and maximise all revenue opportunities. You will be working with the sales team to introduce and develop managed service opportunities within existing accounts and identify sales opportunities and effectively present the key features of the company’s product portfolio. You will ideally possess Managed Service Sales Exec experience and knowledge of IT principles. Knowledge of public sector and corporate sector policies and procedures would also be an advantage. The ideal candidate will have a consultative and relationship driven approach, a confident and effective communicator (both verbally and written) and be very self-motivated, passionate and target driven. Working in the Sales Dept can at times be perceived as being potentially stressful as the role requires you to work towards set deadlines & timescales.
