Managed Service Sales Executive

As part of an exciting expansion plan, our Southampton based client is looking to recruit a Managed Service Sales Executive to be focused on developing direct sales opportunities around outsourced and remote managed services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive, innovative team and make a difference! You will be focused on uncovering and developing sales opportunities around IT managed services and professional services within a particular geographic sales region, working on new business and with existing accounts as well as assisting with lead generation campaigns around new business. This will require you to be extremely consultative and intelligent in your sales approach, you'll have to get past the gatekeepers, quickly build rapport and have the ability to persuade decision makers in a variety of businesses. You will be the sales leader within your territory and be responsible for leading resources to achieve results for your partners and the Company itself, including commercial targets and key performance indicators. Primary Responsibilities will include: Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and forecast goals and revenue target(s); Identify and develop new direct sales opportunities; Manage all aspects on direct sales accounts as well as existing partner relationships from contractual take on to all elements of pre, sales and marketing initiatives; Effectively build and execute a go-to-market and business plans with all partners; Work with the Sales Director and technical support staff to qualify and advance direct opportunities to closure; Create and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations in person, or leveraging web-based remote demo technology. Job Qualifications required: Acumen for understanding managed and outsourced solution selling associated to customers business needs; Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in highly competitive environment; Must possess strong account management, and closing skills including experience successfully gaining access to decision makers, selling into a technical user base & C-level, uncovering buying influences, overcoming customer objections, and purchasing processes; History of structuring “go-to-market” plans with partners based on their business model; Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity based on a strong trust model; Sales affinity, including competitiveness, win-win attitude, accountability, and work hard mentality; Focus on commercial closure and target achievement. The work is varied, and time pressured. Our client is looking for a Marketing Executive to join its Business Development & Marketing Team based in London. In this role you will work as part of a team to deliver a range of marketing and communications activity to support the Company product range and Company's clients. You will also assist the Marketing Channel Managers with marketing activities across the whole marketing spectrum, supporting the business in achieving objectives. Responsibilities will be to: Assist the Marketing Channel Managers with the implementation and delivery of a range of marketing and communications activity to support the Company product range; Work closely with the Marketing Channel Mangers in implementing the marketing strategies to support the sales team in achieving their sales targets; Work closely with and brief external agencies to ensure the delivery of timely marketing and communication activity; Work closely with the Investment team to deliver regular tactical sales and marketing campaigns and pieces to the market; Help to maintain a compliant and in-stock suite of marketing communication items and disclosure documentation for the Company product range; Log, manage and monitor the compliance files to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations; Ensure website and other client and broker facing material are up to date; Work to ensure that marketing budgets are adhered to and the effectiveness of spend is maximised and seek cost savings where available; Work as part of the team to bring new product development initiatives to market to maintain an innovative product range. The successful candidate must have: Excellent campaign and project management abilities; Excellent communication skills; Good investment product and markets knowledge; Strong planning and organisational skills; Strong word, PowerPoint and excel skills. Additionally, you will have a relevant marketing or business qualification, experience of working within a credible investment management organisation, or similarly oriented business and experience of working within a regulated financial environment.
