Ecommerce Export Manager

Our client is currently recruiting for an Ecommerce Export Manager to join their team based in Poole. The ideal candidate will be an e-commerce generalist with a good knowledge of selling and promoting products online. Business to business sales experience is also required ideally of a product rather than a service. In this role you will be responsible for managing and developing the company’s exclusive online etailers outside Europe, opening new exclusive country etailers worldwide, contributing to growing the companies direct to end consumer sales in mainland Europe and opening dropship accounts with etailers across Europe. You will also contribute to online and offline marketing strategies, manage and grow high street retail and mail order accounts worldwide and cover and contribute to other sales areas as required. The successful candidate will have Social Media, Ecommerce and Google ad words experience with a good understanding of how and why people buy online; you mustn’t be afraid of picking up the phone and you should be able to build strong relationships with clients (retailers and distributors). B2B experience is essential and you must be extremely ambitious and career driven. Applicants must have good administration skills, will be personable and not afraid of pro-active sales, will be enthusiastic, reliable and flexible and will be comfortable working in a small company factory environment turning your hand to varied tasks. This role is mainly office based with the odd opportunity to go to trade shows so language skills in particular German, French or Mandarin would be a bonus; if not you must have an international outlook. Hours are flexible, but core hours are Monday to Friday 9.30 to 5.30pm and parking is available. Salary: £18k - £25k basic + up to 30% of basic as target related bonus.
