Our client is a successful Commercial Insurance Brokerage and they are currently looking to recruit an Account Handler to join their Smaller Business Team who deal with Commercial Insurance premiums up to £5,000 in value. The role involves the Administration of client's commercial insurance requirements on a daily basis including new business enquiries, renewals, mid term adjustments, obtaining quotations and accounting procedures. The successful candidate will have: High level inter-personal skills with the ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships; Communication skills, able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge face to face, over the telephone and in writing; Planning, organisational and time management skills; Problem solving; Computer literate and thorough understanding of Company software. Our client is seeking a Personal Lines/Commercial Advisor to work within the Sales Department, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner. In this role you will answer all calls and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner, support the company's goals through excellent customer service skills and by converting incoming enquiries into sales and support the firm's goals by maintaining and increasing renewal retention. Specific duties will include; To identify potential sales from all incoming calls and enquiries; To analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations; To complete all supporting documentation in a timely, compliant and accurate manner; To support the departmental Key Performance Indicators and sales targets as directed by the Sales Manager. You must have undertaken (or be willing to undertake) relevant customer service and insurance training. Hours: 41.5 per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills, effective communication skills, the ability to gather and analyse information from the customer, the ability to persuade and influence others and the ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual customer's level of understanding. Our client is currently seeking a Renewals Administrator with a substantial amount of commercial insurance experience across renewals and policy administration. As this role is office based, it requires smart appearance at all times. Within this role you will be responsible for the administration of client’s commercial insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, renewals, mid term adjustments, obtaining quotations and accounting procedures. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner; Manage client renewals, including renewal documentation; renewal quotations and accounting procedures ensuring FSA deadlines are adhered to; Administer mid term adjustments; Input data onto the office systems; Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client’s insurance needs; Provide technical and administrative support to the Account Executives; Provide technical assistance to Administration Assistants; Assist Account Executives where necessary to assess, assimilate, analyse and present to Insurers and Underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate; Assist in the preparation of Registers on both new and existing risks to support the Account Executives; Adhere to T&C scheme requirements.
