HR Advisor - Part Time

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join their busy Human Resources Team. The position is 30 hours per week for 6 months. Within this new role you will apply your HR experience and excellent employment law knowledge, as well as taking a practical approach, in order to manage project and case work self-sufficiently. You will be required to support Managers with all employee relations matters, ensuring that the Company policies and legal standards are maintained. You will take ownership for a proactive, friendly and helpful HR support service for employees, through prompt response to HR email queries, as well as face to face and telephone queries. You will be a subject expert on HR systems, policies and procedures, offering informal and ad-hoc 1:1 training when appropriate. You will be able to recruit at all levels, coach managers on performance management, absence issues, and attend disciplinary and grievance meetings. Researching and making recommendations regarding new legislation. You will also be required to deputise for the HR Manager as required and support with HR Administration when necessary. Ideally you will be CIPD or part-qualified. Motor Industry experience is desirable but not essential. Travel to sites across Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire is required. Amount depends on volume of cases and projects throughout the year. Due to the high number of applications we are receiving at present, we are unable to respond to every application individually.
