Customer Care and Business Development Team Member

Our client is looking to recruit a Customer Care and Business Development Team Member to maximise business opportunity from within the Company operating territory and providing first class customer service. Being responsible to the Commercial Manager you will: Provide a first class telephone answering response by ensuring that incoming calls are a priority; Ensure that customer telephone calls received are professionally dealt with establishing their needs and processing their orders to the customers’ total satisfaction; Constantly review customer back order situations progress chasing outstanding items, communicating anticipated delivery times to customers and offering alternative products where required; Maximise opportunity for improved profitability by selling across the available product mix; Promote sales of own branded and stock line products; Maintain a professional awareness of products and changes in product such as to be able to offer help and assistance and optimise total customer satisfaction; Ensure that all customer enquiries, specials, complaints, queries and collection requests are dealt with properly and thoroughly to full customer satisfaction; Undertake required administration within agreed time limits and in line with procedures; Attend meetings, exhibitions and training courses as and when required. Previous experience in a similar role is essential especially within an office environment.
