Operations Manager

Our client supplies large retailers in the UK, Europe & Pan Asia with a diverse range of product lines manufactured in the Far East. They are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team. As a member of the senior management team you will be responsible for managing the operations functions of the business including the supply chain in the UK & Far East. The role encompasses managing logistics teams within the UK and Asia, overseeing the stock control & forecasting functions as well as being client facing. Overseas travel to Asia will be required 4 to 6 weeks per annum. The successful candidate will have excellent stock control, supply chain / purchasing experience & will also be managing logistics suppliers & customer expectations with regards to deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience in: Inventory control & forecasting; Management of staff in UK & Asia (leading by example + micromanagement); Importing/exporting experience; Logistics provider negotiations & manage project budgets; Far East manufacturing experience; Lean & cost reduction (Commercial minded); SAP Business 1 experience & advanced excel skills; High communication skills (directors / departmental / customer facing / suppliers); Experience in a client facing role within retail and logistics; Innovation through better systems & processes, (maintaining essential day to day processes); Analytical, detail oriented; Excellent planning & reporting skills. Night Shift Leader

Our client is currently looking to recruit a part time Night Shift Leader to work Saturday, Sunday and Monday night. Reporting to the Deputy Manager you will be responsible for working with 2/3 other members of staff at night overseeing the home. Candidates must have previous experience and their own transport. You must have an NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care. An NVQ3 would be desirable. The overall objective is to provide and ensure that person centered care is implemented by night staff and evaluated in a safe and professional manner to promote excellent standards of care. Key Responsibilities: To oversee that all staff on night duty work within regulated standards of care; Document and maintain accurate records of residents care; Administer and record the handling of medication in accordance with Company policies/procedures and NMC standards; To be aware of Health and Safety requirements for staff and residents including fire policy/procedures; Organise care/cleaning duties, appropriate to night cleaning schedules; Relevant CPR & First Aid qualification; Able to carry out formal supervision of support staff to promote positive and enthusiastic approaches to night care. Salary £280.00 per week plus double pay for Bank Holidays 28 days A/L for 37 hours per week pro rata for 30.75 hours per week.
