Personal Lines/Commercial Advisor

Our client is seeking a Personal Lines/Commercial Advisor to work within the Sales Department, responding to customer needs and requirements in an appropriate manner. In this role you will answer all calls and enquiries in a timely and efficient manner, support the company's goals through excellent customer service skills and by converting incoming enquiries into sales and support the firm's goals by maintaining and increasing renewal retention. Specific duties will include; To identify potential sales from all incoming calls and enquiries; To analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations; To complete all supporting documentation in a timely, compliant and accurate manner; To support the departmental Key Performance Indicators and sales targets as directed by the Sales Manager. The successful candidate will have experience of providing specialised sales advice to support customer requirements and a thorough understanding of personal lines/commercial quote systems and products. You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English and you will also have good keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, e-mail and internet. You must have undertaken (or be willing to undertake) relevant customer service and insurance training. Hours: 41.5 per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and customer service skills, effective communication skills, the ability to gather and analyse information from the customer, the ability to persuade and influence others and the ability to identify and respond appropriately to an individual customer's level of understanding. New Business Account Handler

Our Ringwood based client is currently looking to recruit a New Business Account Handler. In this role you will: Obtain new Commercial lines insurance clients through prospecting and referrals from existing clients; Take instructions/discuss customer requirements involving client visits as required for provision of insurance cover from new Commercial prospects; Prepare presentations to Insurers, input details online or telephone for quotes; Review clients insurance needs and make presentations and recommendations based on information gathered; Issue hold covered letters, cover notes (computerised or manual) and policy documents checking for accuracy prior to issue; Deal with mid-term policy queries, issue endorsements where applicable; Re-broke renewals if increase in premium unacceptable and relay results to customer to enable decision to be made making recommendations accordingly; Manage own files/dead correspondence as per procedures manual; Take details of claims notified and report to insurers. Monitor progress of claims and ensure conclusion. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of FSA regulations and guidelines relating to Commercial and Retail customers. You will also have a willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally. The ideal candidate must be able to apply own judgement and experience when making decisions or giving advice to clients. You must have the ability to prioritise and organise your own workload, the ability to develop and sustain relationships with customers, working under pressure when necessary and have good computer skills including MS Word and Windows. Renewals Administrator

Our client is currently seeking a Renewals Administrator with a substantial amount of commercial insurance experience across renewals and policy administration. As this role is office based, it requires smart appearance at all times. Within this role you will be responsible for the administration of client’s commercial insurance requirements on a daily basis including general enquiries, renewals, mid term adjustments, obtaining quotations and accounting procedures. You will also provide technical, administrative and customer service support to the Account Executives in the small business team who deal with premiums below £5,000. Duties and Responsibilities will include: Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner; Manage client renewals, including renewal documentation; renewal quotations and accounting procedures ensuring FSA deadlines are adhered to; Administer mid term adjustments; Input data onto the office systems; Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client’s insurance needs; Provide technical and administrative support to the Account Executives; Provide technical assistance to Administration Assistants; Assist Account Executives where necessary to assess, assimilate, analyse and present to Insurers and Underwriters to achieve risk acceptance at the most advantageous rate; Assist in the preparation of Registers on both new and existing risks to support the Account Executives; Adhere to T&C scheme requirements.
