Customer Services job offersService Controller - maternity coverOur client currently has a vacancy for a Service Controller (Fixed Term Contract until 13 July 2012 – maternity cover). Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, your main duties will include: To be the first point of contact for customer service calls; To log and process service requests received by telephone or fax; To regularly update job status on computer system; To monitor and allocate jobs to service engineers; To efficiently deal with customer and engineers’ queries; To allocate maintenance work to engineers; To daily log and update out of hours calls details onto computer system; To monitor the receipt of parts ordered; To advise customers of parts to be delivered; To update the computer system with additional information from engineers job documentation to ensure consistency between paperwork and computer system; To maintain an effective manual filing system; To update Call Management System on completion of maintenance work; To update relevant customers maintenance spreadsheets on completion of maintenance work; Ensure that all parts/materials are ordered in conjunction with the clients SLA; To update customers web-site systems with job status / estimated time of arrivals for engineer; Required to act as a liaison between the call centre operators and the engineers in the procurement process either through verbal communication or IT lines of communication i.e. the call management system (Opera). You will also have good working knowledge of common IT software (Word, Excel, E Mail, Internet), the ability to assimilate and communicate complex information and the ability to work accurately at speed. In return our client offers a salary of £16,000, hours 40 per week, 1 hr for lunch, and free parking.
