Our Estate Agency client is seeking an experienced Mortgage Advisor for the Christchurch area, to provide an effective and efficient mortgage advisory/placement service to customers, ensuring the provision of ‘best advice’ in line with company procedures and statutory rules and regulations. Experienced Mortgage Advisors should be CeMap qualified, with an excellent track record. Your key task will be to conduct mortgage interviews and complete mortgage questionnaires, and you will be targeted with increasing revenue from the sales of financial services products. You will also develop and maintain a close working relationship with the residential sales team, ensuring a constant supply of referrals. The Mortgage Advisor must value customer service highly and demonstrate a confident yet approachable manner with good communication skills, self-motivation and lots of drive to carry out a very demanding but rewarding job. Location: Christchurch IFA Support AdministratorOur financial client based in Christchurch, is currently looking to recruit an IFA Support Administrator. Duties and Responsibilities in this role will include: Entering sales details in to the Database; Preparing Client Portfolio valuations; Preparing Management reports from the Database Reports list; Maintain policy register and check and issue policies to clients; Making up & maintaining client files; Obtaining forms & literature; Produce projection summaries; Chase Product providers for outstanding paperwork; Prepare Client Authority letters; Processing New Business application forms; Completing client ID & Money laundering requirements; Copying and sending tax returns; Small element of audio typing for advisers; Assisting with mail outs for IFA campaigns; Answering phone, directing calls, taking messages; General office duties and ad hoc tasks as required. The successful candidate must have a Financial Services Background: Experience in an Independent Financial Adviser practice would be preferred. You will have good IT skills, excellent attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills both internally and externally for clients, solicitors, providers etc. You will be self motivated and able to complete a task unsupervised, as well as have a positive attitude and be a great team player.
