Our Travel client is recruiting for a Foreign Exchange Cashier to increase company profitability and reputation whilst providing the best possible service to clients. You will achieve set targets, increase the Bureau’s turnover by up-selling and gaining new business leads, complete day-to-day tasks and related administration in the bureau de change; balance the till daily and rectify any errors; transact ‘buys’ and ‘sells’ of currency and travellers cheques without supervision; carry out the bureau de change banking; order currencies; take travel balances and payments; ensure the bureau is kept safe and secure at all times; assist with general branch administration; and assist in the training of new staff members on bureau duties. Prior experience within a banking / cash and currency handling environment is essential, as well as experience in a customer focused role.
